A dream of mine came true this past fall. 

My best friend and I have always wanted to start a business together (I know they tell you don't do business with your best friends...but also, what sounds more fun than building a business with your bff?). We had tons of visions, but didn't know exactly what it would look like or when it would become a reality. For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed of opening a photography studio, and when a spot became available, we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to combine our love of design, business and photography and build a space worth creating in.

On a whim, Britt and I signed a lease, and got planning for what would become Twin Creative Studio. Our new natural light photography studio in Bend, Oregon.

Over the past few months we’ve put hours (and hours, and hours) into building a brand and website, renovating, decorating, shopping and gathering furniture, props, gear, and amenities. Slowly but surely, over weekends, late nights, and lunch breaks, we launched Twin to the public in October 2023. 

Here’s a little more about Twin:

We’re a natural light studio in the heart of Bend, Oregon, fully equipped with a wide variety of backgrounds, fabrics, furniture, props, gear and accessories to create beautifully styled images with ease. 

We knew we wanted Twin to be more than a white room with backdrops. We wanted to provide a place of inspiration that can help bring your vision to life. That’s why we took our time hand-picking several backdrop options including easy to use paper backgrounds, and a wall of hand selected fabrics and drapery, plus a carefully curated selection of beautiful furniture and props. In addition, we have a variety of supplemental gear including lens filters, tripods, lighting, and more, to support photographers' needs. 

Whether you’re after standard headshots, artistic portraits, product photography, Instagram content or need a cute space to record podcasts, or video courses – Twin Creative Studio is intentionally designed to serve you.

This is a space for you to create but it has also been such a rewarding experience to cultivate a physical space for creatives like ourselves. The response has been better than we expected, and it's been amazing to share this space with other local photographers and see what they create.
